1. Service Description
Sloane is an AI-powered personal assistant accessible via SMS text messaging. The service provides calendar management, reminders, email notifications, information retrieval, and task assistance.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By sending a text message to Sloane, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. Authorized Use
Sloane is intended for:
• Personal productivity and task management
• Communication with authorized users (business owner, family, employees, partners)
• Legitimate business and personal assistance
4. Prohibited Use
You may not use Sloane to:
• Send spam, harassment, or abusive messages
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Attempt to access unauthorized data or systems
5. Message Frequency & Costs
Message frequency varies based on your usage and requests. You may receive:
• Responses to your requests
• Calendar reminders and notifications
• Email alerts and updates
• Task confirmations
Standard messaging and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. Sloane does not charge for messages, but your carrier may.
6. Opt-Out
To stop receiving messages, text STOP to Sloane at any time. You will receive a confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe by texting again.

7. Service Availability
Sloane is provided "as is" without warranties. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance or technical issues may cause temporary outages.
8. AI Limitations
Sloane is an AI assistant and may occasionally:
• Misunderstand requests
• Provide incomplete or incorrect information
• Experience technical errors
You should verify important information and not rely solely on AI-generated responses for critical decisions.
9. Liability Disclaimer
Pirate Labs and Sloane are not liable for:
• Errors, delays, or inaccuracies in responses
• Decisions made based on AI-generated information
• Data loss or service interruptions
• Actions taken by third-party services (Google, Twilio, etc.)
Maximum liability is limited to $100 or the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.
10. Privacy
Your use of Sloane is subject to our Privacy Policy, available at the same location as these Terms.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate access to Sloane for violation of these Terms or any reason, with or without notice.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
